Good Evening!

As I begin to write about how we've been doing, I am completely overwhelmed with a wonderful
report from Dr. Liebsch. He is in agreement that Hayden's scan looks good and feels that all that
we wanted to accomplish with radiation has done its job thus far. I am soo thankful to all who have continued to pray without ceasing. God has been faithful even when I feel that my life is
spinning out of control with worry, doubt and just plain FEAR! A month or so ago the boys began
compiling their Christmas list. Hayden wanted to know what I wanted for Christmas and I said that all I wanted was my boys to be happy and healthy. I wanted Hayden to just be a little boy
again..no more tumor. He said Mom that's not a good present you must want something?? I said
Hayden, that would be the best gift! I remember those days when wishes were more to do with toys or dolls than an illness. My, how thankful I am that Hayden can still be filled with the wonder of the season than the reality of Cancer. My God has truly brought more blessings than
I deserve! We will probably be doing another scan in late spring or early summer and possibly
go to Boston for that because Dr. Liebsch wants us to come for a year check-up. Please continue to pray for strength for Hayden and his continued therapies.

From our house to yours, have a very Merry Christmas!

Love,
Christy

P.S- I'm also thankful for that little rascal who's name is Mason Parker(as he says). We always had to try to conceive ( the first 2) but then along came this ball of fire named Mason. God gave us great comic relief with him..we are constantly in stitches with the things he does and says!
Today while in Wal-Mart we were walking past the toy section..mistake number one! Anyways, he saw this drum set and would not walk away from it after I stopped to let him play for awhile. I ended up just putting it in the buggy and putting him in as well and he was going to town! (Let me add one more detail he had on a red cowboy hat that he just had to leave the house with!) So..needless to say he performed for every person passing by. It took forever to leave because people stopped to listen to him say that he was in a rock band and watched him play! One cute teenager stopped with her friend and then began to leave and he yelled out hey, where are you going? I'm not done yet!! Thank you God for a wild child named Mason!

Update

Hello All,
Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving...We were able to spend time at Christy and Dave's because Dave had to work over the Thanksgiving holiday and could not get out town and the rest of the family had all the junk that's been going around (congestion, coughing, runny noses, fever for weeks). We enjoyed our time there and had lots to eat. We did not however get to all sit down together as a family to eat the traditional Thanksgiving meal because about the time we got it cooked and on the table someone from Dave's work called and he had to go in so we had to eat without him. We missed him celebrating with us but we had plenty so he got to eat when he got home. Before the blessing I ask Mason (3 yr old) what he was thankful for and he just busted out with Fooriends.(that's his friends). Hayden said his brother, Mommy and Daddy and family. I just love asking them questions and hearing their answers. What BLESSINGS!!!!!

Now for the update....Hayden has had numerous ear infections for the last 3 months and the ENT Dr. said it was time for tubes so we were in Vanderbilt on November 30 for that and he did great. He is now at home telling his brother to be quiet he's being too loud.LOL.....Hayden also has an appt. on Wed. -tomorrow for consultation on pallette (SP) repair which still needs to be done. Please pray that Christy and Dave will have a peace as to where to have this done and whether it be Vanderbilt, Boston, or Little Rock and get it done ASAP. The ENT Dr. who did tubes feels it will help him to do much better to be able to get his words out better and he will adjust more socially with his peers, she feels it will help him with his confidence.

Please continue to pray for healing of his right side. He is still having a lot of weakness there and walking is hard along with right hand is not able to work properly because of the weakness.
So even the everyday things such as writing, dressing himself, going up and down stairs, and going to the bathroom (getting pants down) can become problems. Unfortunately as an adult with MS I know how hard that can be....I just cannot stand to see him have to struggle with this issue at age 6. But I know God is in control and he will continue to bring Hayden through and use it for His glory. We still have not heard from radiation oncology Dr. in Boston, need prayer for that also.

Since the holidays are here I pray for a very Merry Christmas and Happy, Healthy, safe New Year. for you and your family. Remember the real reason for this special time of year. No matter what's going on in your life, God is always there to walk you through, good times, bad times, sad times, glad times. He never fails to work all things for His glory in all times. Thanks for being on this journey with our family and God's richest blessings for you all.

Much love,
Hayden and Mason's Mimi
