We Need your prayers....Please

Hello, family and friends. We just wanted to update you on the progress and what is in the future for us at this time. We now know that Hayden's tumor has begun to grow again and is putting pressure on his brain stem and this is causing some problems with his right side also. As you all know we started this journey about 2 years ago when Hayden was diagnosed at Vanderbilt Hospital with the Chordoma tumor and he had surgery at that time. Since that time we knew because the tumor was located is such a delicate area that the Drs. at Vanderbilt were not able to get all of the tumor out, they did however get more than they thought they could. It was a long road thru recovery with several set backs, but with each set back came answers to prayers lifted on Haydens behalf and for our family. Well we now are facing another surgery on September 24, 2008 at University of Arkansas in Little Rock, and we are asking again for your prayers that God would guide the surgeons hands as he removes this tumor and keep his mind clear and focused so that they will be able to get all of it and and that God's healing hand be on Hayden that there will not be any damage to nerves that control swallowing, walking etc.as he undergoes this surgery. Then 2 weeks after surgery he will then go to Boston Mass. for radiation for 8 weeks. We know God has brought us thru this thus far and we will continue to seek His will for the future. Pray also for Hayden's little brother Mason who just turned 2 yrs. old and will be missing Mom, Dad, and Hayden while he stays with Mimi and Poppa.

Aunt Bev, my sister who is a computer whiz set up this blog so we will try to update you on progress and prayer needs on a daily basis so please know we appreciate you thinking of us.

Haydens Blog

I have created a blog for my sister for her family. Hayden is a wonderful child and this blog site is for his family to have a place to keep us all informed on Hayden and the activities centered around him. I am turning it over to Donita and family for their input. Please read the blogs and post to them when possible. It will mean alot as they face another surgery.
