Another surgery so soon!

Good Morning,

Hayden has had a good night they increased his pain med because he was restless yesterday and moving alot. So..no wonder he has been pretty peacful. We will just be waiting for surgery today. Pray for us because I still am very scared of surgery and as a mom it's that helpless feeling. They have had him so sedated at times and then want to pull him out of it so they can do neuro exams only to put him back in deeper sedation again. It just feels like an endless cycle. One that scares and frustrates me. I am ready for him to be able to not be sedated and able to communicate more. Pray that Hayden will not be frustrated when he wakes up with a trach in and not be able to talk much. It will take time before he figures out how to manipulate this new thing. Pray that this is only temporary and we can take it out soon!!!

Thanks again for the prayers and comments. We have been blessed that while we have been here some clergyman from different churches have adopted us and come by to pray with us and offer words of encouragement. We have missed all of you being able to come and visit and wrap your arms around us.

Love and faith in Jesus,
Christy

I will be praying for the surgery to put in the trak. Also that they whine him off of the sedation soon. It is hard to have your littleman,to go through so much. God is with him,and will see him through it. We all want Hayden to be through this difficult time and on his way home, free of that tumor and surgeries. He is a fighter and strong(as you said superman) and has the will to beat this, and be well again. God is still in control. He loves you all. i will be praying through the day,and will call later. God loves you all, He is with you. Love you all, Ms sandra

Good evening! I just wanted to write a quick note. Our revival services ended tonight. People have been asking about Hayden, so i keep them updated. I have been studying quite a bit for the revival services, so it's nice to be able to catch up with you. Jenna and I love you all and wish we were there. I am so thankful for this blog to keep us updated. Jesus has power. Draw from His strength. I know you are. He loves you all more than we do, so I am glad that you are in His hands through this journey. He is working in, through, and all around you. Many people are being ministered to- directly and indirectly. God is getting glory through all of this and I can see you srawing closer to His heart. i am thankful that we can lean on His everlasting arms. He is strong when we are weak and feel like broken clay. That's when He shines the most. Stay encouraged and we love you all so much!

It's good to hear Hayden is resting. I can't help but believe his brain is needing this resting time to do some healing. I pray the surgery went well. We have not heard from it. I hope you all are able to get some rest so when he comes out from under his meds he's gonna be ready to romp! He's had a lot of time to rest and he's gonna be "ready"!!
Still praying, Rosie

Our prayers are still with you. We are lifting up that you and your family will be well as you go through this. We are lifting up that precious little angel to get well and run and laugh like he did before. Remember you are loved and thought of by you Christian family. Danny and Pam

We are praying & thinking about you all everyday. Many people are calling and emailing the office everyday asking for details and we often refer to them to the blog.
