Praising God!!!!!

Hello Family and Friends,
Got home late from Christy and Dave's in Lewisburg, last night. I have just gotta say THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!! When we (Terry and I) got there we were so stunned to see Hayden and Mason outside playing ball with Uncle Jeremy. I say this because Hayden has not wanted to play ball or do anything outside in about a year because of his right side being so weak and not working hardly at all. He was using both hands to swing the bat and shooting hoops with the basketball with both hands... Praise God! Hayden was swinging the bat and hitting that ball and having a great time doing it. He was not running but he did not even have his brace on his foot and he was walking still with some weakness but really doing well w/o the brace, not being quite as wobbly as I have seen him. We were so excited for him!!!! and for Mom, Dad and brother.

Now I would like to tell you why we were so late getting home....we had to take Hayden on Saturday to ER because he was up all night long with a cough that sounded like he had some major junk in his lungs and throat and when he coughed he could not get it up or down the junk was so thick. So Momma and Mimi took off to Vanderbilt which was an irritation b/c he had been to PCP office on Wed. and they did X-ray of chest and said it was negative for pneumonia but they did see spot where he had it last year about this same time. He had just finished the antibiotic they sent him home with from surgery. They told her to give him Delsym for cough and if wasn't better bring him back in....well needless to say wasn't any better and he did not get any sleep for that night and neither did Momma, Daddy, Poppa or Mimi. So the Dr. in ER said his palette looked great, tissue looked great healing going well, chest was clear (another xray was done) but he could see a lot of drainage and thought it was allergy related. So put him on benadryl at night and zyrtec during day to dry up the junk. With that being said we need prayers for this medication to take care of drainage and junk so Hayden can continue to get well. He is really working hard at trying to strengthen right side and I am so proud to see him trying because before he did not want to do anything but sit and watch tv and that is not a good thing to do, if you don't use it you lose it. (muscle mass and strength)

Just want to thank you all and to give praise to God for He is the healer and you all are such great prayer warriors for us. We cannot do anything without His strength and we are so proud that we now are seeing some good coming out of all that Hayden has had to endure in his short 6 years on this earth. Thank you for all your prayers, even when you all are so busy with your own lives and you lift us up with a quick prayer you will never know how much that means to our family and how much God uses that to help us get thru some tough days. So please continue to prayer, we have another MRI that will need to be done in Boston because Dr. Liebtch needs to see Hayden for check up and evaluation on progress, this needs to be done late Spring early summer. We want to get a good report from that also. Tumor GONE or unchanged would be great news. We are very greatful for family and friends who are always there to listen, prayer, cry and smile with us.

Much love and Thankfulness,
Mimi
