Update-More prayer please

Hello friends and family,
Just wanted to update you all. Just talked to Christy and she said that Hayden had a restful night last night. They still have breathing tube in because his tongue still is swollen. So I would like to add some prayer requests: 1)The swelling in tongue to go down. When Dr. Al-Mefty came in just now he felt like it was an allergic reaction and told nurses to elevate Hayden's head up little more and put ice on lips.2)are able to get him off the breathing tube. 3)no problems with breathing once they take out tube. 4)Christy and Dave get some rest and Hayden will continue to heal without setbacks.

As I was writing Dr. Al-Mefty came in room to talk to Christy and Dave. He said that the surgery from MRI stand point last night showed that all but a small portion was all that was left. So as for this Fridays surgery he is going to wait and see how Hayden is doing before putting him through it again. Since this is not an emergency like it was yesterday. So not sure when it will be at this point.

Thank you all for all the prayers, words of encouragment and phone calls on our jouney through this valley. God has raised up His mighty prayer warriors for this journey and you have stepped up to the call and He has been faithful again in His mercy to answer as we asked and for that we are Still praising Him!!!!!! Please continue to keep up with the blog and keep the comments coming (don't forget to sign your name please so we know who is posting) We love you all,
and appreciate all you are doing for our family.

We are so thankful to God for what He has done and what He will continue to do. Please know that we are still praying many times a day, every day. We will add these new request as something specific when we are praying.

Also, Donita I have mailed something to you and Hayden on Monday at the place where you are staying. Please look for it if it does not show up.

We love you and your family and you are on our mind constantly.

Thanks for posting Donita. I was just going to call, and thought I would check plog first. I will not bother you all. I know you are tired and anxious. T

From what you said about the MRI, that sounds promising that hea may not have surgery Friday. I hope he does not have to. But if it is needed to get rid of the tumor it needs to be done.

God Bless you all.
Love, jugs and kisses to all!

I am so thankful that God is answering our prayers. Hayden has been and will continue to be lifted up to God at our church and at home along with his family. I have been through some valleys and through the grace and mercy of God, I always see a light at the end of the tunnel. May God continue to bless your family.

At various times Hayden crosses my mind. I know that's God's way of telling me to pray. My family, local friends, & online friends are praying, too. So glad the surgery was as successful as it could possibly be.

You all are troopers, and I admire so much your example of faith in the Lord, even when fear, worry, and doubt creep in. It's okay to be human and grow weary. That's when you let His "eagle's wings" take over.

We will keep the prayers going for Hayden's recuperation, all of your spirits to be bolstered, for no more surgery unless absolutely necessary. We love you all!

P.S. Tell him to leave the treatments and anesthesia to the doctors and nurses--no more conking himself with the ball bat, lol.

Hi Sis and Fam,
Thanks for keeping us up on things. I know the first surgery he had 2 years ago I was in charge of Mason and he was only 5 months old and in a seat...Now he is 2 and from talking with him on the phone yesterday he is very active. I know you are keeping him out of his brothers hair for now....Just wanted to say I have been thinking of you all today and wishing I could be there again to help on some small way.
Is there a mailing address close by so I can send a package? Please advise us...

We had a good birthday yesterday...I will wait and have cake with you later!!!!
Love and kisses
