MRI Tommorow

Hey to everyone,
Just a quick update, we will have a MRI tomm. We Have to be there at 1:15 and they will start at 2:15. Please be in prayer for Hayden, around noon tomm we have to put this numbing cream over his Porta-Cath. This is the first time they will access the Porta-cath. So..I hope Hayden does ok and is not to afraid of this. They do have to puncture the skin with the needle but Hayden is a thin child so he just has a small layer of tissue to go through. When they begin radiation therapy they will access this Port on Monday and put a bandage over the needle every day until Friday. At that time they will take it out over the weekend. He will not be able to get this wet through the week so...needless to say bathing will be a challenge.
The rest of the week will be appt on Thursday for a place to stay where they will have other families here for treatment. This will be an apartment so we will have a kitchen to cook in, Yeah!! On Friday we will meet with a Nutritionist and OT for there help.
I will post tomm after we get home from MRI. Hayden is doing well. He does however think that anytime we go somewhere that he needs a toy!! We are having to say NO which is hard.

Praying for healing,
Christy

PS -Yes , we got snow and Hayden was very excited!!

Just wanted to tell you that we are praying for a good report from the MRI. Tell Hayden that the numbing cream works good. The key to the cream is giving it enough time to work, which I'm sure they will do. Tell him that he will feel pressure when the port is accessed, but not pain. It will feel like some one is pressing really hard in that one spot, but it shouldn't be sharp pain. Also they can put a waterproof dressing over the port to keep it dry.
Kenny was glad to hear from Dave on Sun. Take care of yourselves as well and let us know if we can do anything for you on this end.

Still storming the Gates for Hayden,
Kenny, Cathy, and Rebecca

Hey,

I was wondering just how much snow you guys got. The news was saying around 15inches. Glad Hayden got to see all the snow. Praying for all of you and I just updated the prayer request that goes all over Henry County about Hayden. I love you all.

Will be praying that Hayden and family will feel God's continual presence as he goes through the m.r.i. and all that is associated with it and the radiation on Monday. Hayden's smile is an inspiration to me. He is smiling even after all he has been through' We can all learn from him. God is with you all. He is in control and you can trust Him,now and as you have since all this journey began. Praying with out ceasing, Love you all, Ms Sandra
