Hurray for Home!

Hello Everyone,
Hope you all are having a great Memorial weekend. We (Papa and Mimi) are home alone and it is very quiet around here. Dave, Christy and boys are visiting Dave's Mom in West TN. They (Christy and family) have not seen their Memaw since February and I know she is enjoying having all of her family for the weekend. Just wanted to let everyone in Lewisburg know where they were this morning for church since they did not get to come to First Baptist since they have been back from Boston because of being gone out of town. Hopefully things will settle down a bit and they can get in the routine of staying put for while, I know they are ready for some down time at home.

Hayden is still continueing to play and enjoy his cousins and brother. When I called to check on them at Memaw's Mason was a sleep on the swing and Hayden was riding around in the golf cart with Momma. Memaw has a lot of area to ride the golf cart around in the yard so I'm sure he is having fun. They also got to see the new addition to the Johnson family born while Hayden was in Boston baby Daniel was born to Bryan and Jenna Johnson ( Dave's nephew and wife) and Memaw's great grandson. What a wonderful blessing and gift from God this new little life to the family has been and will continue to be.

Mine and Christy's hearts have been heavy for little Josiah Herring, 4 yr old little boy who we have been praying for lost his battle with a very rare tumor on his (thalamus) in his brain area on May 20. Please pray for his family Josiah lost his battle after only being diagnosed for a little over 50 days with his tumor. I know the family is missing him terribly even though he is with "Jesus his best friend" Josiah would say. Words are inadequate for the pain you feel for the loss of a child and grandchild. Only God can still the pain and provide the peace as loving friends and family gather around you and lift you up in prayer and comfort you in this time of going thru the valley of loss of a child and grandchild. If you would like to send a card parents are Jason and Suzanne Herring at 2321 E. Faunhill Drive, Eagle, ID 83616. The funeral for Josiah was on Sat. May 23 Please lift this family up in your prayers.

Please continue to pray for the previous prayer requests on the last blog post. We again thank you for your faithfulnes to stay on this journey with us and for your prayers for Hayden and family. God CAN move mountains!!!!!!

Praising Him, Mimi

Thank you for the address for Josiah family. Have been remembering them in prayer. I will send them a card, knowing how hard this is to go through. Thankfully as Christians we know we will see our loved ones again. Hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial holiday. Happy to hear that Hayden is enjoying being home and free of treatments. He is a very brave boy. God has blessed you all, with a time of no side effects with the radiation. We are all praising Him for His steadfastness and power in Hayden's life. I will continue to join you all in prayer for the rest of this journey. Praying for a clear MRI, and no more tumors in Hayden's life. God is good and in control. Love you all, Ms Sandra
