Update-Thursday night

Hello Family and Friends,
I know it has been a long day waiting on an update from us but I have just now had the time to give it to you. Here's the scoop......Hayden did well with the surgery today and the ENT dr looked at the site where the brain tumor was removed and it has not changed from last time. Not any better or not any worse those were the words I believed he quoted. So Hayden now has tummy tube for feedings and no more nose tube in and incision has not healed as of yet and still has trach. Tongue is still swollen out side of mouth and is very uncomfortable for him. So please continue to pray for the swelling to go down and incision from tumor removal to heal correctly with no infections.

Dave's Mom came over today with his neice and her husband so that was a great surprise for all of us, and she brought us a home cooked meal which are few and far between here because of schedules and lack of cook ware. But we need to loose a few pounds anyways. HaHa!!!!!

We continue to see God's hand in Hayden's healing and we are looking forward to seeing the light at the end of this tunnel and the end of this tour of duty with this chordoma. We are so thankful for family and friends who lift us up daily for peace and comfort from your prayers on our behalf. Thank you for being there for us.

Still praising Him for His faithfulness,
Mimi

I am so grateful that you take the time to do these updates. I look two or three time a day. I know it must be hard for you, but we all want to know what's going on with this tough, sweet little boy. We pray faithfully for him, his doctors and you - his care takers.
Love you,
Judy Bloodworth

Glad to hear Hayden's surgery went well. The boys pray for him every night and are very anxious to hear about his progress. Remember you're not in this alone - even though we're not there, you're in our thoughts and prayers daily. God is in control and Dave he's definitely good all the time.

Love to all,
Sandra and Guy

Hi All,
So glad he was able to get tube out of his nose. Just doing that should make him feel better. Glad the surgery went well, and that David's mom was able to come. We pray for all of you every day that you continue to find comfort in Him. Know that He is with you through every step you take. We love you and hope to see you soon.

Love Kim & Jerry

I continue to pray for the swelling of the tongue to go down and for the tumor to be completely healed in Jesus Name. Don't lose hope, God is always on the throne.
